Many people believe that as the butterfly freely soars in the sky, it signifies freedom and independence. Fairy tattoos are a common favourite among women because of their symbolism to beauty, grace, and femininity. The fairy signifies a link to the magical and enchanted aspects of nature. It often represents childhood or youthful innocence because of the obvious connection between fairies and fairy tales, or children's stories that have fantastical elements and a happy ending.
